What to expect:
Attire will be summer dressy. The wedding ceremony will be in the backyard on grass so comfortable shoes (or bare feet) are perfect! We’ll have a buffet style meal from Zingerman’s for the party Saturday, and then music will play well into the night. We have events for any and all to enjoy the days before the wedding, so if you’re able to come up early please join us as we explore what Northern Michigan has to offer in the summer (don’t forget your bathing suit!).
Gifts:
Many of you are traveling across the globe to celebrate with us in Boyne City. Your presence means the world to us and is all we ask for. No Gifts!
Thursday
4:00 PM
We’ll be hosting any of the early comers at the Boyne Valley Vineyards, about a 10 minutes drive from the River House. They have small plates (not true dinner) and wine (obviously!).
Friday
2:30 PM
We will be renting pontoon boats for a day on Lake Charlevoix! The water is warm by August, and we’ll have a lot of fun swimming and sharing beers on the water. Meet us at Boyne Watersports - straight down main street on the dock. More details to come for those who can make it.
6:00 PM
Friday in the summer in Boyne City is “Stroll the Streets” with live music from 6-9PM throughout downtown Boyne City. Wander around downtown and meet us for more live music at the River House backyard with pizza and beer. Please join us for a little wedding preview party Friday night!

We’re getting married! Please come by 4pm for our wedding ceremony. Attire will be summer dressy. Steve is not wearing a tux so don’t out dress him! Dinner will be served following the ceremony as well as an open bar throughout the night. We’ll have live music, tents if it rains and stars if it doesn’t! We look forward to dancing the night away together!
